BRAINWARITING METHODS, FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION AND NOMINAL GROUP TECHNIQUE TO DETERMINE ELEMENT PRIORITY (A series-2 writing-management based approach)

Abstract


This second series of tutorials presents the use of the brainwriting method, the focus group discussion method and the nominal group technic method as a tool for decision making. The decision can be in the form of selecting the priority of elements or choosing the priority of the cause of the problem. These three methods are categorized as qualitative methods or non-scoring techniques. Each method is described about the meaning, advantages and disadvantages, procedures for use, and data analysis techniques.
