Education For Disaster Care to Reduce Disaster Risk in SMPN 1 Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia
Abstract
The activities program of Disaster Safe Schools is community empowerment through disaster education in schools, but the implementation of these activities has been no evaluation so that the purpose of the research and writing of this thesis was to evaluate the factors supporting and inhibiting as well as the impact of the Disaster Safe Schools Program activities at SMPN 1 Kintamani. The research approach used in this study is a combined method which research approach that combines networking and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Sampling by purposive sampling with research instruments through observation, interviews, focus group discussions and questioner. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and draw conclusions. The results of this study that there supporting factors include the condition of field conditions, school physical condition of school facilities, conditions of human resources, capacity building, regulation and program activities as well as an inhibiting factor is the population of people in the schools, time of implementation and financing. Based on the analysis of impact of the implementation of school safety disaster that an increase in the capacity of the human resources and infrastructure disaster. This evaluation shows that the implementation of disaster safe school activities is very important to be implemented with due regard to the indicators in the framework of disaster safe school, as well as in the implementation of these activities should take into account the strong support and minimize obstacles in the implementation of Disaster Safe Schools.
